ASAP
It seems like the rules are changing every 10 minutes. Nobody really knows what to do anymore. These are strange times, and people are scared.
I get it, I really do. I’m scared too. But I’ve got you.
This wasn’t how you expected it to end. You were young, healthy, and you thought you were fine. You thought the quarantine was annoying. You still had a life to live, and you weren’t going to be inconvenienced by some virus. So you kept going out. You went to house parties, and had a blast. You refused to separate yourself from your friends and family. The rest of the world was being extra.
Then, you got sick.
It took them three days to find you. Your neighbors complained about the smell coming from your apartment, and the police were called. Your parents were hysterical when they were told that they had to have you buried or cremated immediately. They picked out a casket from a catalog that was emailed to your sister. Your mother was never very good with technology.
They’d hold something in your honor later, once this all blows over. But right now, they had to make some tough choices. And they had to make them ASAP.
You were loved. You’re family wanted so badly to be here, but they couldn’t. Your dad’s health is failing and they just couldn’t risk it. They hate it so much, that you’re alone.
The thing is, you’re not alone.
I’m here. I’m with you. Until the end.
