Hi.

Well, you’re here now. Take a look around. You know you wanna.

Every time I tell someone that I'm a Funeral Director, I am bombarded with questions :

"What's it like?" "How can you do something like that?" "Don't you ever get scared?"

My answer is always the same. "Everyone is somebody to somebody. You have to remember that they were once people and not just sacks of flesh. These people were mothers, fathers, grandparents, children. They made the people they cared about laugh, cry, and yell....and most of them will be missed."

It's not scary. Really, it isn't. Sure, we as Funeral Directors are there to put the finishing touches on a loved one (a ring here, a pair of earrings there), but in reality, our main purpose is to ensure that things go as smoothly for the families as possible.

"What was Judy's favorite color?"

"Wow! I think adding Grandma's gardening tools to showcase her green thumb would be a great idea!"

We take the snippets of a person's life that we are able to glean from family stories and try to incorporate them into the service. Our mission is simple. We're here to guide families through what is arguably the most tumultuous time of their life, and help them get to the other side in one piece. It's who we are. It's how we love. It's what we do.
