2018: My Year In Review

It’s no secret that 2017 just wasn’t my year. I was sure 2018 had to be better. 
I truly believe that every experience helps to shape you and it’s up to you how you choose to proceed. So I thought I’d share a bit about my 2018.

I failed: I had a lot planned for 2018, and 2018 pretty much gave me a giant LOL.  I applied for a higher position in my current company and didn’t get it. I submitted an application to be considered for an entrepreneurial partnership and didn’t make the cut. I had some ideas that didn’t take off as quickly as I’d expected them to. 

I learned: I realized that a lot of people who I made extra time for were nowhere to be found when I needed to fall back on them. I learned how to build boundaries, and protect them by becoming comfortable with saying ‘no’.  I said goodbye to my 20s.

I grew, and most importantly, I bounced back. 

2019, let’s do this. 
I’m ready.
